MASSEY HIGH SCHOOL - School Visits

Elaine Curtis —

This week our Senior Leaders have been visiting our local schools and speaking with Year 8 students.

This is something we do every year.  We take past students of the school and this year we have been taking our non-teaching Deans.  The visits are always a success.

This week we visited Huapai School on Monday and Huapai have featured us in their newsletter to senior students.  Here is what they wrote:

"Our Year 8's enjoyed the high school talks before the Year 7's joined in and we got to see the MHS Matinee (productoin) and what a performance they turned on for us. It was warm fuzzies for the teachers as we saw ex-students take the stage and a huge congratulations to those of you who have children attend MHS. What fine young people they have turned out to be".

"The Year 8's also have a free bus setu for them to take part in the annual Year 9 for a day at Massey High School next Friday. This normally runs for two hours so the crew will be at MHS from 9.30am until 12.30pm and set us up for a great insight as to what high school will feel like. This is open to all Year 8 students regardless of which high school they will be attending".
