Dr Shanks was a long time Board of Trustees member until her retirement in 2015.

She served as Chairperson and Deputy Chairperson during her time with the Board.

It is with great sadness that we learn of her passing on Thursday 7 June 2018.

Our sincere condolences go out to her family at this very sad time.

She was awarded a QSM in 1996.  Cita was a fabulous servant of Massey High School and the entire West Auckland Community were close to her heart.

We are poorer for her passing.
