Health Service Support – Remote Clinic

Our school based nurses will ensure that our school community continues to have access to health care while the school is closed. This service will be provided by phone or internet. Please be aware that they will not be able to provide full health services, but they will be able to triage, assist students with health needs and refer on if appropriate.

Our nurses have been provided with cellphones – students can text or call these numbers.

Our nurses contact details are:

Ruth Bunney 022 399 8477 rbunney@masseyhigh.school.nz

Jeanette Doyle 022 584 8749

jdoyle@masseyhigh.school.nz

Rachel Harron : rharron@masseyhigh.school.nz

or email: nurse@masseyhigh.school.nz

They will be contactable from 8.30am to 4.30pm Monday to Friday.

When a student identifies that they want to speak to a nurse (through text, call, or email ) the nurse will call the student back at the prearranged time. Our nurses will be in touch with each other constantly. Our nurses have advised that the most reliable form of initial contact would be via text message.

Nurses will complete the consultation over the phone following protocols as set down by the Auckland District Health Board.

The school will continue to keep you updated via newsletter, website, and facebook page. Again, many thanks for your support in these extraordinary circumstances. As a final note, please keep up to date through official sources of information only. We recommend the following:
