We are pleased to announce nominations for the 2020 McIntosh and Fraser Dental Orthodontic Scholarship are open!

Established in 2012 by Dr Alex McIntosh and Dr Milan Raniga, the scholarship was founded to help deserving students in West Auckland. Dr McIntosh and Dr Raniga saw a significant need for support and created this scholarship to give something meaningful back to the community.

Since its creation we have transformed the smiles of 20 students by awarding $135,000 in scholarships. This year, the 2020 Orthodontic Scholarship consists of two full scholarship prizes.

We are excited to continue the McIntosh Dental Orthodontic Scholarship program for 2020 and we thank you and your school for your valuable contribution. 

During the month of August 2020 nominations will be open for the 2020 McIntosh and Fraser Dental Orthodontic Scholarship.

Two deserving students from West Auckland schools will be selected to receive a full scholarship to the value of $10,000 for orthodontic treatment at McIntosh or Fraser Dental. Since its creation in 2012 the scholarship has helped 20 students and their families by awarding $135,000 in orthodontic treatment and $20,000 of technical equipment.

The nomination process is simple. We are looking for students who have a clear need for orthodontic treatment and who excel in one of these key areas: academic, sporting, the arts, or community involvement. Students can be nominated by teachers, other school staff, members of the community, whanau, and their peers.

How to nominate a student:

• Go to mcintoshdental.co.nz/scholarship to complete and submit the online application form

• Go to mcintoshdental.co.nz/scholarship to download, print and fill out the nomination form

• Scan and email the nomination form to info@mcintoshdental.co.nz, or post or drop the form into McIntosh Dental Centre at 43 Lincoln Road, Henderson

Nominations are open from 1st August 2020 and close on 31st August 2020.

The two winners will be announced in late September 2020 by Dr Alex McIntosh and Dr Milan Raniga. Thank you and good luck to all nominees.
