As you are aware, all schools close today as we approach Covid-19 Alert Level 4. School holidays commence on Monday 30th March, continuing through to Tuesday 14th April inclusive. This provides an opportunity for families/whanau to settle into routine and become accustomed to the restrictions that will be in place as a result of Level 4.

This means that Massey High School will reopen for distance learning on Wednesday 15th April. In preparation for this, our school website has been updated to include a “Distance Learning Resources” hub.

Microsoft Teams

There will also be comprehensive instructions for students (and parents) to log into Microsoft Teams using their school login and password. These will be uploaded to the following page:

Once a student has logged into teams, they will teams as created by their classroom teachers, allowing them to access resources uploaded by those teachers.

Other online resources

Some classes have elected to use a variety of online resources – students in those classes have been contacted by email. If a student has any questions, please email your subject teacher.

Contact during distance learning

All subject teachers will also be contactable by email from Wednesday 15th April onward – they will respond to queries between 8:30am and 3:10pm. A list of email addresses is below, we request that students only lodge queries from their own school email accounts.

Physical Resources

There are packs of physical resources for Year 9 and Year 10 available for collection from reception until 2pm today. Please adhere to distancing guidelines.

A reminder of the above will be sent out again on Wednesday 15th April.
