The Massey High School annual ball will be held on Friday 29 May at the Hilton Hotel, Auckland City.  Formal dress is required.

The evening will run as follows:

7.30pm Students to arrive at the venue (All guests should be dropped off at the lobby entrance into the Hilton Hotel.)

8.00pm Doors close – no persons will be admitted to the venue after this time.

8.30pm Dinner served.

12.00am Evening finishes – please note, no students will be allowed to leave the venue prior to this time.

As you are aware, the Massey High School Ball has always been a highly successful event and every year we are complimented on the behaviour of our students. This is due to the clear expectations we have in place to ensure that everyone can enjoy themselves and the way in which our students rise to those expectations.

Tickets – Online Application, Payment and Permission

This year we have moved to an online application process. The completed application form will link to an online payment and will also require you to upload your outside partners ID. Please do not fill in the form until you are ready to upload the scanned ID and make payment.

Completed forms will need to be printed off and taken home for parent/partner signatures and be returned to Mrs Bentley. Tickets will be issued to students during the week 25th – 28th May. Tickets must be collected prior to 29th May. Prices of tickets are $110.00 for Massey High School student and $120.00 for a non-Massey High School student (outside partner).

NOTE: Due to the size of the venue there is a limit on guest numbers. As a result, applications will open to Year 13 students only from Tuesday 28th April. Year 12 students will be able to complete applications from Monday 4th May. Please be aware that applications will close once the maximum occupancy is reached. Each ticket is linked to individuals - holders of tickets on-sold through private means will not be allowed entry to the venue.

Expectations

Normal school rules apply in regard to behaviour, drugs, alcohol, and smoking. We advise The Hilton require all guests be subject to security inspections by qualified security personnel prior to entry to the venue. Alcohol, cigarettes and any other unacceptable items will be confiscated. These items are generally not returned. Please be aware that venue security has the right to refuse entry. Outside partners are the responsibility of their Massey High School partner and are expected to follow the same school rules as Massey High School students.

As a final note we advise that MASSEY HIGH SCHOOL HAS NOT ARRANGED ANY PRE-BALL OR POST-BALL FUNCTIONS neither does it endorse such functions. Massey High School TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY THAT MAY BE ARRANGED.
