Students at North Shore Markets - Sunday 21 June 2020

Massey’s intrepid Year 12 Business Studies students braved the rain and the early morning Sunday start to run a highly successful and professional market day event at the North Shore’s Takapuna and Browns Bay markets over the weekend. As part of their business activity, students are required to make, market and sell their products in line with their business plans and the selling element takes in place in various markets across Auckland.

“I was delighted with the commitment the students showed” Chris Hett, Business Teacher. ‘The students showed great initiative and resilience in putting in place all the necessary arrangements to make the weekend a success’.

The professionalism of Massey’s students did not go unnoticed by the market organizer who hosts stalls for all the North Shore Schools. “I feel it is worthwhile saying the students from Massey were probably the most polite and easiest students we have ever had at the market”, he said.
