2016 Massey High School Ball

Lisa While —

Friday 23rd September 2016 (Teacher Only Day)

This year's School Ball will be held on Friday 23rd September (which is a Teacher Only Day) and will be held at the Auckland Museum.  The cost of tickets will be $110 for students and $115 for outside partners.

The Massey High School Ball is on Friday 23rd September at the Auckland Museum. It starts at 7.30pm and doors have a strict closing time of 8pm. The Ball finishes at 12pm midnight and students are expected to remain at the Ball until that time unless prior arrangements have been made with the school. Students must dress formally.

The Massey High School Ball has always been a highly successful event and every year we are complimented on the behaviour of our students. This is due to the clear rules we have in place to ensure that everyone can enjoy themselves.

Car parking after 5pm around the domain is free and public are allowed to use the 'permit holders' parks. In addition to this there is the underground car park, entry after 5pm will mean a $9 flat fee until midnight.

All guests should be dropped off at the Atrium (south) entrance. This is the entrance facing Newmarket, NOT the memorial entrance

Dinner will be served at approximately 8:30pm. Photography will be present and students will be able to access images online after the event. These photos are included in the ticket price and are intended for personal and private use only. In purchasing a ticket the student has agreed to use the images responsibly.

Students can start paying money towards their ticket from today, and tickets will be issued to students during the week 19th to 22nd September.  Tickets must be collected prior to 23rd September as this is the last day of Term Three.  Prices of tickets are $110.00 for Massey High School student and $115.00 for a non-Massey High School student (outside partner).

Normal school rules apply in regard to behaviour, alcohol and smoking. The conditions of entry into the Museum are that guests will be searched on entry to the venue.  Alcohol, cigarettes and any other unacceptable items will be confiscated. These items are generally not returned. The venue security has the right to refuse entry. Outside partners are the responsibility of their Massey High School partner and are expected to follow the normal school rules.

With everyone’s co-operation I am sure we can all enjoy ourselves in a manner consistent with the intention and spirit of the school ball.

MASSEY HIGH SCHOOL HAS NOT ARRANGED ANY PRE-BALL OR POST-BALL FUNCTIONS AND TAKES NO RESPONSIBILITY FOR ANY THAT MAY BE ARRANGED.
