STUDENT SUCCESS - TE RUKI PIERCE-DUNN

Student Achievement —

Te Ruki Pierce-Dunn (13HBW) is our Deputy Head Boy for 2017.

Congratulations Te Ruki.

We are delighted to announce that he has been successful on being selected for the 2018 Global Development Tour. (previously named The Hague International Model United Nations).

The Global Development Tour in 2018 will see 22 high achieving high school students who have just graduated Year 13 or Year 12, travel to New York City to attend the prestigious Columbia University Model United Nations Conference and Exposition and of course the UN Headquarters.

Not only will the delegates be meeting high profile international diplomats, they will be travelling to London, Paris, Berlin, Rome, Geneva and Copenhagen to learn more about the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

More info on this tour can be found on website: unyouth.org.nz/events/global-development-tour/

This is a significant achievement - and some of the past students who have been selected have gone on to do some amazing things here in New Zealand and overseas.

We wish Te Ruki every success in his journey beyond Massey High School.
