Week 1

Our Reo-athon is live!!  Here is a link to this weeks Facebook post. 

Our goal is twofold - for our tamariki to engage in and learn new te reo Māori, and for us to fundraise for some of our awesome Home and School projects.

We have some tasks for our whānau:

• Support our tamariki with their lists for the week (there will be a facebook post to help with this).

• Gather pledges. These will be based on our goals as a school. We are looking to learn 15,000 - 20,000 words (and challenges completed) by week ten. We already have some amazing progress - this week we have learnt over 1,500 words, and completed 60 challenges. What an awesome team we are!

Next week our focus is on colours (ngā kara) and food (kai). Our challenges are taking a photograph of a vibrant colour in our community, or a favourite meal from home.
