Maungaraki School —

New Board Elected

Kia ora.

We have an incredible community, you all offer so much support to us as a School and we do truly appreciate it. This was very evident in the high quality of people who put their hand up to be on our Board of Trustees this term. A huge thank you to each and every one of you. It is wonderful to see so many people in our community invested in making our school a better place.

We congratulate and welcome our newly elected board members; Lisa Agent, Lizzie Briscoe, Megan Hurley, Paul Matthews, Aaron Moore and Kim Webby.

Our School owes much of its success to the hard work that our Board of Trustees put in to making our school a better place. The role of a board member is challenging and complex, we have had an incredible board who have worked tirelessly to progress our kura. They have made sure Maungaraki School has staffing to maximise learning for all, they have planned and built new playgrounds for all and they have been instrumental in the development of our new buildings. This really only scratches the surface of the work they do for our place.

We say thank you to our previous board members for the work they have done to make Maungaraki School a better place for all; Paul Matthews, Kaylee Gibbs, Wayne Church, Julie MacDonald, Lizzie Briscoe, Kim Webby and Megan Hurley.

Our team took part in the Interzone Swimming event at Huia pool today.  We wish them the best and look forward to sharing their results with you.

The Home & School will be busy ending the term with a Neon Disco next Friday night, and the popular Pizza lunch in the last week of term.  Details on these fun events will be shared with you.
