Maungaraki School —

Update

The Government have indicated that NZ will move to the new traffic light system from 3 December.

At Maungaraki school we will be continuing to operate under our current level 2 guidelines until the end of the year.  This provides our students and community with some consistency and allows us time to understand the new regulations and communicate some guidelines.  For now, this means:

  • Continue to pick up and drop off students at the gate.
  • If you do come on site, wear a mask and only come to the office.
  • If you are dropping off items bring them to the office who will distribute them.
  • If students are arriving late please send or bring them to the office. If they are leaving early, sign them out at the office and we can have them meet you there.  Do not go in to class.
  • Meetings with teachers can be arranged and they will outline the requirements for coming on site.

VOLUNTEERS

Any unpaid staff who support us with Sport, Activities, EOTC trips, or any other role, onsite or offsite, during a time when students or staff are present, needs to be vaccinated.

To support Maungaraki School in a volunteer role you MUST inform us of your vaccination status AND provide evidence to us, which may include:

  • an immunisation letter

  • a screenshot from the 'My Covid Record' website of your vaccination details or your Covid Pass.

  • a screen shot from the ManagemyHealth or Health 365 Apps

All information will be held on our Vaccination Register and will be kept private (see the privacy statement on the attached google form).  If you would like to provide us with this information in advance of a trip or activity you may be supporting, see the details below.  We will also email these out to those parents who have been confirmed as attending a trip or supporting us.

Thank you for your support with this. Please do contact us if you have any questions or concerns about mandatory vaccinations or the systems we have in place.
