Term 3

SPORTS ACADEMY

As part of our year's focus of trying new sports that we may never have been exposed to before, the Sports Academy have been taking part in volleyball sessions with our wonderful volleyball master, Ben Glue. Ben is one of our year 5/6 teachers and also represents New Zealand in volleyball as captain for the Volley Blacks! He has been running through some drills and skills with the Academy, focusing on volleyball shots called the bump and spike, and working as a team. There has been so much enthusiasm shown for these sessions that we may have to have another go in Term 4!

NETBALL

A big thank you to our coaches & managers for supporting us in getting 5 teams on the court this season.  At our next full assembly we will give out MIP and MVP awards. If you still have a netball uniform please return this to Mrs Prichard as soon as you can. 

TOUCH RUGBY

We are excited to start Touch Rugby again in term 4.  The first games will be on Friday 29 October for years 1-6 at Hutt Park and Thursday 28 October for years 7&8 which has moved to Fraser park.  Team details will be coming out before the end of term 3.
