Help Hospi reach our goal of 5000 pairs of pyjamas , so that we can keep all sick kids warm this winter. All donated pyjamas must be brand new. Size 2-12, flannelette 2 piece pyjamas preferred.

Pyjamas can be dropped off to the Receptions at: Wellington Hospital, Kenepuru Hospital and Kapiti Health Centre. Or posted to: Wellington Hospitals Foundation, Wellington Hospital Private Bag 7902, Wellington 6242, New Zealand.

(All pyjamas must meet NZ product safety standards for fire safety. Due to the risk of infection, only brand new pyjamas can be accepted.)


Maungaraki Baptist Church is having a mid winter bonfire event on Friday 29th June from 5.30pm onwards at the church centre - across the road from the shops (weather dependent). Please bring your own fish and chips for dinner, and then simply enjoy the relaxed evening. While the bonfire is happening outside, there will be table tennis and coffee and tea inside.

Donation entry - this is to raise money for Victoria and her parents. Victoria is the seven year old girl in our community who has been facing cancer. We look forward to seeing some of you there. Any questions phone Daryl on 04 5860216


Wellington Phoenix

Wellington Phoenix are running two holiday programmes during the July school holidays!
This is an opportunity to play your favourite game all day, develop your skills, make new friends and rub shoulders with members of the Wellington Phoenix Academy.
Thursday 12 – Friday 13 July, Memorial Park, Petone, 9am-3pm
Monday 16 – Tuesday 17 July, Wakefield Park, Island Bay, 9am-3pm
Includes coaching from Wellington Phoenix Academy Youth coaches, a Wellington Phoenix holiday programme t-shirt and a Wellington Phoenix football.
Prices: $150 or $120 for Wellington Phoenix Members.  1 day option available.
