SCHOOL DISCO

Our next school disco is on Friday 9 August.  There are 2 different time slots for the Junior and Senior Syndicates:

Years 0 to 3:   6:00pm - 6:45pm
Years 4 to 8:   7:00pm - 8:30pm

The theme is Welcome to Hollywood

Cost: $5 per child or $10 per family - payment on entry
Treats can be purchased on the night using cash or your can  purchase a 'Treat Ticket' for $5 from the school office to use instead of cash.

LOST PROPERTY

We have a large amount of lost property from last term.  This is being donated to a local charity tomorrow.  Please come in and check if you are missing items.  There is also a lost property pile in the Hall.

DRIVEWAY ACCESS

A reminder to families that the school drive way is closed in the morning from 8:25am to 9:25am. We will continue to close the driveway in the afternoons from 2:55pm to 3:15pm.

ABSENCES & LATENESS

If your child will be away from school please advise us as early as possible. Call the office on 5697205 and leave a message on the absence line. There is also a absentee link that can be used on our website www.maungaraki.school.nz

If your child is late to school in the morning please ask them to come to the office and sign in. 

BOOK CLUB

Here are the closing dates for the Scholastic Book Club orders to the end of 2019.   To place an order go to www.scholastic.co.nz - > Parents -> Lucky book club.  We can no longer take cash orders at the office, all orders needs to be place online.

SCHOOL LUNCHES

A reminder that there are school lunches available to order.  On a Wednesday there is Sushi and Friday there is Pita Pit.  All orders are placed through Lunch Online and are delivered to the school office for collection by your child.  To set up an account or order go to: https://www.lunchonline.co.nz/

GAMES

Thank you to all families who donated games to the school.  Our classrooms are now fully stocked so the students will have so cool games to keep them busy on wet days.
