Quiz Night

Kia ora whānau,

Wow, what an amazing term we have had here at Maungaraki.  It is incredible to think that the first term is nearly already gone.  

Over the past few weeks we have had some of our incredible students representing us in all manner of sports.  We have had cricket tournaments, swimming sports and touch rugby success.  One very special achievement to acknowledge was the outstanding performance of our Rippa Rugby team. They won the zone competition, which is a massive achievement.  You can read more about this in the sports report but I would like to personally congratulate the team and thank all of the parents and coaches who give up their time to make this possible. 

We have our quiz night on tomorrow night.  If you don’t have a ticket there are still some spots available and we would love to see you there.  There are some great prizes up for grabs and loads of fun to be had.  Another huge event organised by our wonderful Home and School team, thanks to all of the volunteers who have helped. 

I hope the children have a safe and happy holiday and we look forward to an exciting Term 2.
