Term 2

This term we are starting up a class in Room 9 and we offer a very warm welcome to those joining us in this Year 0/1 class. We are happy to have you as part of our Maungaraki School Community.

There are a few small changes to the structure of the Kākano teaching team. Miss Cherry has welcomed the arrival of a beautiful little girl - Maia. As she will be on maternity leave for Term 2 & 3, Jen Long will step in as team leader for this time. We are joined by Annie Cunningham, Nikki Bennett and Heather Dodge who will be working part time in our classes.

Our inquiry, this term, is focused on looking at jobs - if you are interested in coming in to do a talk about your job, please contact Jen Long so she can organise this. We are looking forward to having The Barking Dog Company to come in and do a show and at the end of the term we will be having 8 swimming lessons.
