Voting papers

We had 8 nominations for the election of 5 parent representatives to the Maungaraki school board of trustees.  We will therefore go to a voting election.  

Voting papers have been sent out to all eligible people on the school electoral role, with candidate statements and a return addressed envelope.

HOW TO RETURN YOUR VOTING PAPER

• This is a postal election so ALL voting papers MUST be returned in the addressed envelope that was provided.
• If they are NOT returned in this envelope the vote will be INVALID.
  
• Completed voting papers put in the enclosed envelope, can be:
  • Hand delivered to the Voting box in the school office reception area.
  • Put in to our mail box at the front gate.
  • Posted to The Returning Office in the envelope provided.  The envelope must be post marked before 12:00pm on 7 June 2019 and received no later than 5 days after this date to be counted.  
    
• NOTE: NZ Post can no longer guarantee that all envelopes will be post marked.  It is therefore recommended that all votes are received by noon 7 June 2019.  Envelopes that were posted and received AFTER 7 June 2019, that ARE NOT post marked will be marked INVALID.
  
• ALL Votes MUST be in by 12:00pm on Friday 7 June 2019 to be counted

The highest polling candidates will be elected to the board of trustees. The results will be announced after the 13 June 2019 and also published in a local newspaper.
