We have a few exciting changes in staffing coming next term.

Room 1

We welcome Talitha le Roux as the new classroom teacher for the remainder of the year. Talitha is an experienced teacher who has been working across the school for the last two years. We wish Kayleigh all the best on her next adventure as she heads away on maternity leave. What an exciting time for her and her family.

Room 6 & 7

As Room 6 & 7 grows throughout Term 3 we will be adding additional teaching support into the classrooms. Shona Morris, who is a trained teacher will be joining Caeleen and Brydie in key learning times for the term. Shona is currently working at Maungaraki School as a part of the support team, so has an excellent knowledge of our place and people. 

In Term 4 we will open a new classroom of new entrant students. The class will run out of Room 8 and grow throughout the year. Jenna Reddy will be joining the Maungaraki team following her time overseas. Jenna is well known to many here on the Hill from her time working as a Teacher in 2022 and 2023.

I am sure you will join me in welcoming them (back) to Maungaraki School.
