Maungaraki School —

Easter Break

Dear Maungaraki Whānau,

We are fast approaching the Easter Break, I hope this time allows for rest, rejuvenation, and time with your whānau. Please remember that our kura is closed from Friday 28th March until Tuesday 2nd April. We look forward to seeing you all back at school on Wednesday 3rd April.

We are so grateful for your incredible support of our recent Easter Raffle. This event was able to raise around $4,000, an fantastic result. The overwhelming success of this event wouldn't have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our Home and School Team. Your generosity truly exemplifies the spirit of the Maungaraki School community.

This week, we had the pleasure of witnessing our tamariki in both the Cross Country and Colour Run events. It was awesome to see our students embodying our HEART values with such enthusiasm and determination in both events. These events not only promote being active but also foster teamwork and resilience among our students. A huge thanks to the staff for their efforts in organising these events, which brought immense joy to our school - the smiles and laughter were everywhere!

I again thank you for your patience with the building projects we have happening here at school. In particular, thanks for your ongoing efforts to keep our tamariki safe when dropping off and picking up as we experience the redesign of our car park. Wishing you a happy Easter Break and looking forward to welcoming you back refreshed and ready for the term ahead.

Ngā Mihi Nui,
Shane Robinson
