Kelson School Twilight Gala

Kelson School are having their Twilight Gala on Friday 10 March from 4-8pm. Pop over to Kelson and enjoy some treats and family fun including activity stalls, garage sale, monsta raffle, bake sale and a Jaffa roll. 

GOOD TIME MUSIC ACADEMY

Goodtime Music Academy wants to say a big welcome back to all of the whanau at Maungaraki School. GTMA is now taking enrolments for 2023 in-school music lessons now. If you want your child to be a part of these award winning music lessons, and want to be a part of their new curriculum and performing opportunities, then in-school lessons may be the solution for you. Learn in a group setting, and choose between Drums, Guitar, Keyboard, Ukulele. Or try their 'Intro to Music' course.

FRENCH LESSONS

Would your child like to learn a second language at Maungaraki School?

  • Experience French learning the fun way! Children speak French from the first lesson.
  • Ages 8 to 12, lessons are once a week, and go for 45 minutes.
  • Lots of fun interactive activities: active games, drama, music, a bit of writing

MAUNGARAKI PLAYCENTRE OPEN WEEK

Maungaraki Playcentre is inviting whānau with tamariki, newborn to school age, to come along for a visit during Playcentre Open Week, which runs from 6-10 March at our Playcentre 9am-1pm.
Playcentre is an Early Childhood Education (ECE) provider with a difference; it is parents and whānau who care for the children attending, playing and learning together.
During Playcentre Open Week (6-10 March) whānau are invited to come along for a visit and experience Maungaraki Playcentre for themselves, “Welcome to our Village.”
If you cannot make a visit during Playcentre Open Week, feel welcome to visit any time. New families are always welcome.

We are open for Playcentre sessions on Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 9.15am - 11.45am with an extra play until 1.15pm for older children who need even more fun!!
