PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE
Week 2 - Term 2
Tena koe,
We hope that you had a restful and enjoyable term break with your whanau. As we commence a new term, we would like to welcome everyone back to school and extend a warm greeting to our new students and families. I am excited to be back at school after my sabbatical. A huge thank you to Darian Schulz and the staff who did an incredible job running the school.
Our new library is now open and it is stocked with a vast array of books to cater to a wide range of interests and reading levels. It is a beautiful space and we encourage students and whanau to visit the library and take advantage of this fantastic resource. Over the next few weeks we will be in touch to update you on a range of out of school activities operating from this space.
Furthermore, we are thrilled to announce that our new bike track is now open for students to enjoy during their break times. The bike track is designed to encourage physical activity and to provide a safe space for students to ride their bikes or scooters. Syndicates have rostered days on the track so please do send your wheels to school with students on these days.
We would also like to remind families of our school's commitment to providing a safe and inclusive environment for all students. We encourage parents to engage with the school, communicate any concerns with classroom teachers, and work collaboratively with our staff to support their child's learning journey.
Lastly, we would like to thank our staff and volunteers for their hard work in preparing the school for the new term. Their efforts have ensured that the school is ready to provide a positive and engaging learning experience for our tamariki.
We look forward to a successful and enjoyable term, and we thank you for your continued support.
