Zespri Young & Healthy Virtual Adventure Challenge

On Thursday May 13th we were lucky enough to have a visit from Kim Harvey, creator of the Zespri Young and Healthy Virtual Adventure Challenge, and Silver Fern and ASICS Ambassador, Ameliaranne Ekinasio. Many of our classes have taken part in the Young and Healthy Challenge in recent years. It is a fun health and wellbeing programme that takes classes on a virtual global adventure led by a cast of New Zealand's sports stars, including Ameliaranne. Students count their daily steps, water intake, hours of sleep, and screen time to race other schools around the world.

Here are some of the official photos from the day! Our Maungaraki netball teams and the Sport Academy had a great experience, doing warm ups and drills with Ameliaranne, talking about healthy lifestyles, and taking part in a Q & A and quiz session.
