Spurs Win Basketball Final

BASKETBALL

Congratulations to the Maungaraki Spurs Year 3/4 basketball team who finished the season with a win to come first in their grade.  After a tough first up loss in their grading games the team went on to be unbeaten for the remainder of the season.  The score in the final was 10-6 which had it all with injuries to key players, great defence and team work which ultimately won the game.  Congratulations to Quinn, Gus, Dallas, Leo, Xavier and Jacob VG.  Also thanks to Mackenzie and Isobel for providing last minute injury cover for the final.

CHEERLEADING

Well done to Harper & Charlie Edhouse who were in a cheerleading competition in the weekend.  They both won medals, Harper came 2nd in Level 1 Juniors and Charlie came in 3rd. 

NETBALL DEVELOPMENT
