KiDS CLUB!

Empowerment Classes for Kids.  

The intention for these classes is to inspire your kids to believe they can do anything. These classes develop creativity, self belief, a growth mindset and confidence. We do this through discussion, activities and self reflection.

When: These classes run for 8 weeks starting on Sunday 24th Feb 2019 and finishing on Sunday 14th April 2019.
Time: 3.30pm to 4.30pm

PERFORMING ARTS

Arts a Go Go! Performing Arts School for Kids Upper Hutt still has limited spaces available in some of our popular drama, dance, singing, pre-school music, Irish Dancing and musical theatre classes. Classes are held at The Spot, 651 Fergusson Dr. Try a class before committing to the term! (Waitlists apply to some classes.)

GUITAR 

Guitar, Bass Guitar, Drumming and Singing lessons are available with music tutor Andrew McPartlin.  The lessons are held at school starting on Tuesday the 12th of February and the cost is $11 per session.  Contact andymcpmusic@outlook.com or 0210323659 for bookings or more information.

MESSAGE FROM PUBLIC HEALTH NURSE

For those children who have asthma diagnosed by a doctor, it is important that your child has an Asthma Action Plan completed by your doctor and this is shown to the school office. The school staff will take a copy and refer to this should your child suffer an asthma attack at school. It is also very important that the school have your child’s prescribed inhalers and that these have not expired. The expiry date can be checked by pulling out the canister from the inhaler and checking on the canister the date noted next to “Exp:”.)

MUSIC LESSONS

Your child can learn how to play the keyboard at this school.   The lessons are run during school hours and all ages are welcome!

The Wellington Music Academy has been providing music lessons in the Wellington region for over 25 years.
