2022 WEETBIX TRYATHLON

The Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon is designed for Kiwi kids aged 6-15 years to help them stay active and healthy through a programme of participation. Open to Kiwi kids of all sporting abilities the Sanitarium Weet-Bix Kids TRYathlon is a fun day out for kids, parents and families. Participants get to swim, cycle (7 years or older), and run their way around age appropriate courses, either as an individual or as part of a team of two. Refer to https://tryathlon.co.nz/ for more information.

Registrations for the 2022 are now open, with the Lower Hutt event, being held on Thursday 24th March 2022. Maungaraki School has a school group entry, so when placing your registration please be sure to include the school in your entry. Enter online at https://tryathlon.co.nz/

For the event Maungaraki School will have a marquee which students and parents from the school can use on the day. Parents are responsible for transporting their own children to the event and for supervising their own child on the day.

FOOD BANK DONATIONS

My name is Storm King and for my Gold Te Manawa challenge I am collecting food for the Foodbank.  I am asking the Maungaraki Community to help me reach my target of 50 items.

There will be a box in the school office where you can donate non perishable items of food.  The boxes will be emptied out every couple of days.

Thank you for your help.  Storm.

HATS

A reminder that all children need a hat to wear at break times for terms 1 & 4.
