New Classrooms

As they say 'One building project closes, another one opens'. After the recent completion of our Library space at the front of the school we are pleased to be able to share our next development with you. The Library space is getting so much use currently and has seen positive community benefits, we are now looking at the development of the next spaces.

In the July School holidays construction will begin on a new three classroom teaching space at the back of the school. This space has been approved by the Ministry due to the roll growth the school has experienced over the past few years. The spaces will have an amazing view over the harbour and a modern feel within. Here are a few concept images of the designs.

The site setup for this build will occur over the July holidays and may unfortunately impact on some of our playgrounds. For health and safety reasons a fenced area will need to be installed to get materials to and from the site and to enclose the building site, this will be completed outside of school hours. We are currently working with the construction team and Ministry to finalise the details of the site set up.

The size and scale of the work means that this build is expected to take 13 months to complete. This will cause some disruption, however we will look to minimise this where possible and are really excited about the possibilities the new space will bring.
