Maungaraki School —

HUTTFEST

Our tamariki were INCREDIBLE at HuttFest on Monday. A HUGE congratulations to them on all the mahi they have put in and their performance on Monday afternoon. They did Maungaraki School proud, it was breathtaking to watch from the audience. A huge thank you to all involved in the day, from prepping tamariki, to organising and much more - your efforts are so appreciated. Thank you.

Special recognition and thanks to Matua Sam, Whaea Holly and Mr Young. Their drive, energy and dedication to Kapa Haka is amazing and can be felt in our performances.

Kia kaha, kia māia, kia manawanui

MATARIKI

What an amazing Matariki morning we had at Maungaraki School. The weather was sensational as we celebrated this special time of the year. Well done to our tamariki who shared their mahi with whanau and performed with our Kapa Haka. It was neat to see your pride in Te Ao Māori shining through.

Thank you to everyone that came down to join us, the school was absolutely buzzing. A huge thank you to the staff who came out early to get the classrooms and school set up, we really do appreciate your work team. These mornings could not happen without the support of sponsors.

Thank you to Cole from Ray White, Marcus and Kristen from New World Newlands and Niki from Hellers. Their generosity made sure that we were all well fed and had hot drinks in hand. Thank you so much! We hope you had a lovely long Matariki weekend.

LOST PROPERTY

We have our normal end of term pile of lost property. If you are missing any items please check lost property in the class and office area. It also helps if items are named.
