EASTER TUESDAY - SCHOOLS ARE CLOSED

A reminder that all schools are closed on Tuesday 2 April. 

Every year schools are closed on Easter Tuesday, however as the Easter holidays regularly fall within the Term 1 school holidays, we don't usually notice this extra day. School will be open again on Wednesday 3 April. 

PARENT LEARNING CONVERSATIONS

We have Parent Learning Conversations on Wednesday 3 April and Thursday 4 April. These meetings are a great opportunity for you to meet with your child and their teacher to discuss their progress as well as setting goals for the remainder of the year.

To book these go in to your Hero app - Home - School Bookings - Add a booking - Chose an available slot - Confirm the booking.

TEACHER ONLY DAYS 2024

The Ministry of Education has provided two Teacher Only Days in 2024 for Primary and Secondary schools. This is to support the implementation of Te Mātaiaho | the refreshed NZ curriculum, the re-design of Te Marautanga o Aotearoa and the NCEA Change Programme. 

Maungaraki School will have our Teacher Only days on Friday 31 May 2024 and Friday 25 October. School will therefore be closed on these days.
