Week 5
NZEI UNION MEETINGS
As a part of ongoing conversations and negotiations around work conditions for teachers the NZEI is meeting with Teachers across New Zealand over the next few weeks.
Our teachers will be attending meetings on the afternoons of 22nd June and 23rd June. Our school will remain open however classes will be combined from 2 -3pm and this will have some impact on programmes. We do appreciate your support.

Issue 4 has been sent home with your child. Orders closes on Tuesday 9th June at 3pm.
HOT MEAL FUNDRAISER
There's just nothing quite like a hot meal on a cold winter's day and our Year 7&8 students have got you covered! They're stepping into the kitchen to prepare Hot Meals and Milo orders each Friday this term to contribute towards our school fundraising efforts for our Bike track and school initiatives. The weekly hot meal will change each week.
Week 6: Spaghette Bolognese!
Cost: $5 or add a hot Milo drink for an additional $2.
To order the Hot meal complete the Signmee notice. These MUST be completed AND payment made by the next Wednesday so we know the quantity of ingredients to purchase.
JASPER THE CAT BURGLAR
This is a children's book based on a real cat, Jasper, who collected clothing off clothes lines in the Christchurch suburb of Sumner. The cat in this book collects shoes instead. It is written by Claire Benge who has lived in Maungaraki for 50 years, and is illustrated by her brother-in-law, Alan Benge.
