You will be aware that Maungaraki School has partnered with Hutt City Libraries to turn our new Library into a full Library hub. Students will have access to SMART Library services which includes their books and online resources.

As part of this process we will need our students to sign up to Hutt City Libraries so they have their own Library ID & card which will allow them to borrow books.  

We want to make this process as simple as possible for our families so we will be working with Hutt City Libraries to ensure we can complete some of these steps for our students.

A Signmee notice will be sent home soon to capture details from you. 

We will be asking the following:

Does your child have their own Library Card

  • YES - that's great. We will ask you for their card number / ID. Please log in and update your details or check they are correct.
  • NO - Let's get them registered. We will ask you to go to the below link to sign up your child with Hutt City Libraries. You will need to repeat this process for each child.

At the end of this step you will be sent a temporary borrower ID.  We will ask you to enter this on the Signmee notice. 

Once we have your temporary borrower ID we will be able to complete the final steps for you. 

We hope to issue the cards to our families in the near future, which you will hold as their parent. We will let you know once we have finalised this process.
