Field Drainage

BUILDING PROJECTS & FIELD DRAINAGE

We have exciting times ahead. The current building project is set to be completed by the 9th of February. The driveway project will follow soon after. 

We have also confirmed drainage work on the field will start over the summer break from the 16th of January. This project will see the top field closed while it is dug up to lay drainage pipes. The field will be out of action for a number of weeks as we re-seed it. We know that the field is used by many families, especially over the summer break. However we would appreciate that while this project is underway that everyone stays off the field to ensure we get the best possible result and there are no safety issues. Shortly after this, we will be able to begin work on the bike track.

Having a bike track and field that can be used through the year will be a huge asset to the school and wider community. We will continue to give updates around the building and ground work. Thank you for your support. 

DROP IN DAY 2023

Each year we have a drop in day just before school starts. This allows families to come in and visit the classroom and drop off their stationery. Students & families are welcome to come in to Maungaraki School between 1pm - 2pm on Tuesday 31 January 2023.

YEAR 7 INTERMEDIATE HOODIES

We will be placing a bulk order for Intermediate Hoodies at the beginning of next year. Families need to place their order via the school website by Friday 13 January 2023. These can be purchased at the subsidised price of $50 each. Please get your order in so these can be handed out to our 2023 year 7 students in February.
