LOCAL PROFESSIONAL AGENT

Hi, I’m Chris McKelvey, your local Professionals Agent.  I'm really pleased to be associated with the Maungaraki Pop Up Christmas Carols this year and would love to see you there!

It doesn’t end there though, I hope to be supporting the school and the
community as much as possible – Thinking of selling? Any sales that I make through a listing that comes directly from someone associated with the school I will donate $500 to the school. It’s worthwhile to list your home with me and see its success go straight back into the community.Call me on 0274 885 996 or chris.mckelvey@redcoats.co.nz

BIKE-A-PALOOZA

It’s almost time for Bike-a-palooza! Bike-a-palooza is a fun mountain biking event for kids aged from 2 to 13 years old, held on the 15th of November at the Wainuiomata Mountain Bike Park. Bike-a-palooza is run by WORD, a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing mountain biking adventures to children all over Wellington, to give them a lifelong love of riding.

That’s because this year, Bike-a-palooza is being organised by the WORD assistant instructor event management team, a group that is entirely comprised of 14 to 16-year olds. Many of them have come from participating in previous years’ Bike-a-paloozas, they help teach the WORD after school programs and now they’re organising WORD’s event of the year. That includes poster design, gathering sponsorships and prizes, and even hiring a cotton candy machine!

Online registration for Bike-a-palooza is already open. Check out the WORD website to register and for more information about the event and the courses available: word.org.nz/things-we-love/bike-a-palooza

Registration is $15 for one child, $40 for a family of three, and $5 if you’re a resident of Wainuiomata.
