NETBALL

Congratulations to all on a successful season! A huge thanks again to the coaches and managers who take the time out to make sure our Maungaraki teams get to play each week. We really appreciate all you do. Most of the Netball tunics have been returned, but there may be still a few floating around Maungaraki houses. If you do have one send it back to Matua Sam in Room 3.

INTERZONE SWIMMING

It was great to get back to having Interzone Swimming this year. Maungaraki competed valiantly in all events. We celebrate the following children who placed in their events.

BASKETBALL

Huge thanks to all the coaches who took time out to coach for Terms 2 and 3 - you guys are amazing. Often it is the same people across many sports who help, Maungaraki School appreciates you and the support you provide the school and the tamariki. Awards winners will be recognised next term. If you have singlets to return, please send these to school with your child.

TOUCH

Touch Signmees have now closed for Term 4. We are coaches across all year levels so if you are someone who is going to be at your child's games and you are happy to help out, please let Matua Sam know on sam.blandford@maungaraki.school.nz. 

We can organise training during school time if this is an issue. 

FUTSAL

We had 3 days of Futsal tournaments in September in which the Maungaraki children represented the school fantastically. The tournaments were extremely well organised and wouldn't have gone ahead without the help of some amazing parents transporting and supervising teams!  Thank you.

SPORTS FEES

All outstanding sports fees are now overdue. We appreciate your prompt payment of these fees which includes Touch Rugby, Netball, Basketball, Zone & extra curriculum events.
