YEAR 8 LEAVERS DINNER

Maungaraki School —

We farewell our Year 8's and other school leavers.

Year 8 Leavers

Last night we had the annual Year 8 leavers dinner.  We were greeted by the teachers and the colourful Dr. Suess themed hall.

The year 8 speakers passed on tips to the year 7's about leading the school in 2018.  Such as strive for excellence, challenge yourself and make the most of your final year.  The year 7s thanked the year 8s for all they had done and wished them good luck on their new chapter.

Overall, this year has provided us with many opportunities,  we really appreciate all the effort and hard work that was put into making this year as amazing as it was.  We feel well prepared for high school but will miss the school, people and connections made at Maungaraki school in the past 8 years.
