MAUNGARAKI RICHMOND SCOUTS

Maungaraki Richmond Scouts are holding a Mystery Car Run on Sunday 7 April, starting from Benedicts Cafe, Maungaraki Shops, Dowse Drive, Maungaraki at 11:00 am

Benedicts will be open from 8:30am, serving coffee and breakfast.Register your vehicle - any type car, van, truck, bus, motorcycle; any number of passengers - at Benedicts Cafe between 10 and 11am and receive instructions and a list of questions/puzzles to solve that will eventually lead you to the Secret Destination.  Rally is anticipated to take 1.5 to 2 hours.

Once you've found the Secret Destination, enjoy some refreshments at our sausage sizzle and bake sale (cash only, no EFTPOS).  After all or most participants have arrived, prizes will be awarded to winners in several categories, not just the first to reach the final destination.

Maungaraki Richmond group are aiming to send 20 scouts to Jamboree in December, which means a lot of fundraising. So challenge your friends to an amusing race and come along on Sunday 7 April for a great time, great food, fun prizes… and to help our scouts go to Jamboree. 

PETONE RUGBY CLUB

Junior registrations for Petone Rugby Club are taking place on the following dates:

• Wednesday 20 March from 5.30pm –7.30pm
• Saturday 30 March from 2pm - 4pm at the Clubrooms
• Thursday 4 April from 5 – 7pm at the Clubrooms

Wednesday 20 March will also be our 'Canes in Clubs' night where we will host some Hurricanes players at the club. Come on down and meet some of our Hurricanes!

2019 Registration Fees are:

• Nursery Grade - $65
• Under 6/7 - $75
• Under 8/9/10 - $85
• Under 11/12/13 - $95
• Family (3 or more Kids) - $200

LEARN TO PLAY TENNIS

Holiday Programme For Children From 5 - 13 years.  Supported by HVTA

Dates: Monday 15, Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 April, 2019. (wet or fine)
Venue: Mitchell Park (Mitchell Street, Lower Hutt)
If wet the programme will be held in the squash courts.
Timetable: 9.00am-10.00 am- Girls from 5-8 years old
10.00am-11.00 am- Boys from 5-8 years old
11.00am-12.00 noon- Girls from 9 years +
1.00pm-2.00 pm- Boys from 9 years +
Cost: $33-00 for the 3 days. Money to be paid on the first day.
