Award winners

Congratulations to the following students who won a Principal's Award at our assembly on Friday 13 December.  We hope you enjoyed your morning tea with Mr Robinson.

Room 1: Diaz Herapath - for being an enthusiastic learner who works hard in all aspects of school. He is also a kind and empathetic class member.

Liam McKinstry - for showing excellence in Writing. You are creating interesting pieces of writing that have personal voice,description and humour.

Room 2: Minh Huynh - for actively participating in Football in Schools and working hard to be a great teammate. It’s fantastic to see you challenging yourself to try new things. Tino pai!

Olivia Le Pine - showing excellent independence. You are working hard to start tasks with confidence. Great work!!!!!! 

Room 3: Sophia Li- for showing excellence in your independent learning. You are demonstrating persistence and dedication to getting your tasks completed to a high standard.

Room 4 & 5: 

Vicky Walters - for your growing confidence expressing your ideas and opinions.

Noah Barry - for trying new things and pushing your boundaries.

Amy Martell - for being an amazing Buddy Reader! Ka rawe!

Room 6: Gus Counsell - for outstanding initiative! You have been going above and beyond to think critically and find solutions to problems independently. Tino pai!

Room 7: Tim Gough- for showing excellent independence. You are working hard to complete all learning tasks to a good standard. Tino pai, keep it up!

Room 8: Nehal Shaik Mohammed - for excellent progress with all curriculum areas, and setting a positive example to all

Room 9: Matthew Waggot - for working diligently and improving your Mathematics. You have been trying your best! Well done Matthew.

Room 10: Cate Morris - for great enthusiasm in planning your OE trip. You have some great ideas and have really thought about your planning.

Room 11 & 12: 

Carrisa Oliver - you have had a fantastic year all round! You always put in 100% effort and are such a great role model for your classmates. Thank you for being the best version of you!

Richard Ferguson - for the amazing contributions you made to camp! You were a fantastic leader, helping with the equipment and supporting those in your group. What a way to end Year 6!

Rosie Dungey - this has been a year of growth for you and we couldn’t be prouder of the progress you have made. You have set yourself up for Year 7 brilliantly! 

Room 13: Leo Dittmer - for an excellent start to Maungaraki School. You always try your best, show great perseverance in your learning, and are a kind friend to everyone in Room 13. Tu meke Leo!

Room 14: Corben Oliver - for excellent progress in Reading and for making Room 14 a great place to be because of your kindness and sense of humour.

Ashley Chatfield - for your enthusiasm at school. You are a kind and caring class member. 

Room 15: Hadleigh Anderson: For your incredible effort in your writing. You have great ideas, and you work hard to complete your work independently.
