POOL PARTY

The year 7 & 8's are going on their 1 week camp to Nelson in October.  We will be running a variety of fundraising events to help cover the cost families have to pay.   This term we will be holding a Pool Party at Naenae Pool which has been booked exclusively for Maungaraki School.  There will be full access to both the 50m Main pool and the Learners pool, the Funzone and the Hydroslide.  We will have sausages, lollies and chocolate available to buy.

Date: Saturday 18th August
Time: 6:30pm - 8:30pm
Price: $6 per child/adult swimming (free entry if not swimming)
Place: Naenae Pool - 19/45 Everest Ave, Naenae, Lower Hutt

All children attending will need to be under the care of an adult 18 years and older and cannot be dropped off unsupervised.  Children under the age of 8 will need to be actively supervised by an adult 18 years and older (being watched at all times and being able to provide immediate assistance).

A Signmee form will be out by the end of the week, so make sure to get your tickets for a community wide event!

The Reading Challenge raised over $7,000.  What an incredible result for our school!  Thanks so much to everyone who helped make this possible.  A special thanks to the Home & School team and the staff for all of their efforts.  We feel very lucky to have such a special community.

LOST PROPERTY

At the end of each term we donate all remaining lost property that isn't named to a charity.  We always have a lot of clothes left over so please check to ensure clothing is named.  Especially items like hats, jackets, sweatshirts and drink bottles.
