Carpark Upgrade

We’d like to thank you for your patience and understanding while the new entrance and carpark for Maungaraki School is being developed. We know this has impacted the school community and neighbours with the increase of cars parking in the surrounding streets.

Due to the discovery of a main electrical cable along Dowse Drive, which is required to be moved by a third party agency, the completion date for works has now been moved to end of May 2024.

Hutt City Council and the Ministry of Education remain committed to delivering the school and community project as soon as possible. We ask the school community to be respectful of neighbours when dropping off or picking up their children in the area. Updates will be provided as the works progress.

NEW CLASSROOM BLOCK
