HILLS SHARING

This week our Kapa Haka rōpū hosted Korokoro and Kelson Schools for our annual Kapa Haka Hill's Sharing. It's a fun event which gives our tamariki the opportunity to share their mahi, and see others perform. All the groups did an amazing job, their passion and mana were clear. It was a beautiful day, and the icing on the cake was seeing our tamariki share some kai, and make the most of the playground. 

DONATIONS

Thank you for supporting our gold coin donation days.  We have been able to donate to the following organisations:

ONESIE DAY Wellington Free Ambulance - $308
GUMBOOT FRIDAY Free Kids Counselling - $263
CURE KIDS Child Health  - $441

PIZZA LUNCH

We will be having another of our Home & School Pizza lunches on Wednesday of week 9, the last week of school.  This will be loaded in to Lunchonline for all orders to be placed online.

LOST PROPERTY

We have a large pile of lost property.  We will have this on display until the end of the year, so please check it out if you are missing anything. After this all remaining items get donated to charity. 

THE ATHLETES FOOT

We thank the Athletes foot for their donation.  If you purchase shoes form them and mention Maungaraki School, they will donate a portion of the sale to the school.  Do remember them when buying your shoes!

YEAR 5 - 8 BYOD (BRING YOUR OWN DEVICE)

We have BYOD for our year 5 to 8 classrooms. The 2023 stationery list for these classrooms will include the requirement to have a Chromebook. We will have some for rent if you are unable to purchase one.
