SPORT AT MAUNGARAKI

Maungaraki School - February 22, 2018

Our Sports Leaders are enjoying supporting the younger students with games.

SPORTS ACADEMY

Our Sports Leaders had an interview with Jordan Kahu today. Jordan plays for the Brisbane Broncos and NZ League team. Among other things we asked him about what it takes to succeed at the top level of sport. He spoke about making good choices and perseverance. It was neat to speak to him - our leaders were full of enthusiasm following the chat, thanks Jordan.

REPRESENTATIVE

Congratulations to Storm King who plays softball for Te Aroha Softball Club.  He has been selected for the Hutt Valley U9 Representative Softball Team.  He will be playing in the Okada Regional Softball Tournament on 18th March at Fraser Park.  Good Luck.

TOUCH RUGBY

Term 1 Touch Rugby started on Friday afternoon at Hutt Park in Lower Hutt.  We have 9 teams playing this term and it was great to see so many orange t-shirts around.  Good luck to all players, play hard and represent the school well.
