TOUCH RUGBY
Well done to all of our Touch Rugby teams who competed in the Term 1 competition at Hutt Park. We had some great success and had many new players who were learning the game. A special thanks to all of our coaches, we had 11 teams entered in this term and that would not be possible without your support.

Year 7 & 8
- Madness - 1st in division 1 mixed grade
- Mustangs - 3rd in division 1 mixed grade
Year 5 & 6
- Marvels - 3rd in division 1 mixed
- Matrix - 5th in division 1 mixed
- Magic - 6th in division 4 mixed
Year 3 & 4
- Meteorites - made the 5th & 6th final in division 1 mixed
- Mavericks - made the 3rd & 4th final in division 2 mixed
- Mysterious - made the 3rd & 4th final in division 4 mixed
Year 1 & 2
- Magnetic - 2nd in division 3
- Magnificent - 5th in division 4
- Metros - 3rd in division 5
RIPPA RUGBY
Congratulations to the year 5 & 6 Rippa Rugby team that represented Maungaraki school at the Interzone Tournament. Cole, Boston, Harrison, Jed, Sam, Cooper, Mia, Sophie, Storm and Alex won the zone competition, which is a massive achievement. Thanks to our coaches for doing such a fantastic job with the team.
CRICKET
Our year 5 & 6 Team made the semi finals of the Primary Schools Cricket Competition and lost to Hataitai. They should be proud of their efforts.
The Year 7 & 8 narrowly missed out on the semi finals but played an amazing tournament.
NETBALL
Netball starts in Term 2, Signmee notices have been sent out to advise of the details. Start dates for the different grades are:
Year 3 & 4: First Game Saturday 11th May
Year 5 & 6: First Games Monday 6th May
Year 7 & 8: First game Saturday 4th May
