MAUNGARAKI TENNIS CLUB OPEN DAY

TENNIS

Tennis Coaching - Term 4, 2018. 
For children from years 2 - 8
Places are available in this programme which takes place on Tuesdays from 1:00pm-1:40pm starting on Tuesday 23 October and continuing for 6 consecutive weeks.  The coach will be Mr Gary Nelson, an experienced teacher and qualified tennis coach.  All equipment is provided including rackets.  Cost is $50-00 for the block of 6 lessons and should be paid at the first lesson.

HUTT REPERTORY THEATRE

NETBALL

Term 4 Skills sessions – Year 4 - 10
Four week programme led by our Netball Development Officer focussed on core netball skills for Year 4 - 10 players of all abilities.  A chance to refresh your netball skills or have a go at Netball.  Held on Tuesday afternoons at the Taita Courts:
Year 4 - 6 from 4:00 - 5:00pm.
Year 7 - 10 from 5:00 - 6:00pm.

HUTT DISTRICT CRICKET CLUB

Year 1 Have-a-Go (Friday's 5pm)
Year 2 to Year 8 grades (Saturday mornings)
Year 5-8 girls grade (Sunday's 1pm).

GOLF

The Shandon Junior Golf Academy would like to invite students from your school, who may be interested in exploring the game of golf, to register for our next coaching module which is due to commence on Wednesday the 26th September 2018.  Depending on numbers we may also run a session on Sunday mornings from 11.00am to 12noon.

The programme provides a series of twenty, one hour long lessons during which students learn a range of basic skills in a fun, active and colourful environment.

Using game like activities and modified golf equipment our coaches provide a player-centred learning approach where participants take greater ownership of their learning through increased awareness, responsibility and self belief.  See the attached poster for details.

LEGO SHOW

Well-Lug, the Wellington Lego user group is please to announce the third Lego show in Palmerston North.  The 29th and 30th September will see some fantastic Lego creations on display.  Our last show was a big success; this year’s show will be bigger and better.

This year funds raised will help support YOSS, the Youth one stop shop in Palmerston North.  See the attached flyer for more details.

The Pink Star Walk 2018 is back on, here in the heart of Wellington!  Join the Breast Cancer Foundation NZ down at Frank Kitts Park on the 3rd of November.
