PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Maungaraki School —

Week 5

Tena koe,

With the cooler weather setting in, it's important that we ensure the well-being and comfort of our students. Please remember to send your child to school equipped for changing weather conditions. Layers, jackets, and perhaps an umbrella would be wise additions to their daily attire. Additionally, considering the unpredictable Wellington climate, it's prudent to pack an extra change of clothes in their bags, just in case. Our priority is to ensure that our students are both comfortable and ready to embrace learning regardless of the weather.

This term, we are excited to trial a new and enhanced way for you to stay informed about your child's learning journey. We have been exploring HERO over the past year and will be providing you with two learning updates throughout the next six weeks. These updates will give you valuable insights into your child's progress, achievements, and the milestones they accomplish in their learning.

HERO not only serves as a bridge between school and home, but it also empowers you to actively engage in your child's education. As we work together to nurture their growth, these updates will offer a deeper understanding of their strengths and areas for growth, allowing us to collaborate more effectively for their success. If you have any questions around the updates that come home please contact your child's classroom teacher.

Thank you for your continued trust and support.

Nga mihi,

Shane Robinson
