Reading Around the World

READATHON

Over the past month we have been Reading Around The World. We would like to acknowledge the huge amount of effort that has gone into making this Readathon such a successful school event. We have been amazed by the generosity of the sponsors and also the way the children have attacked the reading challenges. Thank you for your support - you are a wonderful community who get behind learning and fundraising.

As a school we have been so impressed to see the way children have developed and maintained reading habits, both in school and at home over the month. This has enabled so many wonderful stories to come to life.

Next week we will conclude the event with a School Hui to celebrate the month, and hand out some special awards. 

We would finally like to acknowledge Caeleen, Kākano and the Home and School for their efforts in making this come to life.

HOT MEALS FUNDRAISER

Thank you to all of our families who supported our Hot Lunch fundraiser.  Our year 7 & 8's worked hard in the Kitchen to dish these up each Friday.

We have a busy few weeks at the end of Term 2, so we have decided to make today the last Hot Meal.

SPARE CLOTHES

During the winter months we have alot more children getting muddy during break times.  If this sounds like your child, please ensure you have put spare clothes in their bag.  We do have some clothing items at school, however the sizes and styles are limited and we don't always have clothes to fit.

HUTT FEST TICKETS

Hutt Fest Tickets for Monday 5th July are now available for sale from the school office for $5 each.
