PRINCIPAL'S REPORT
Kia ora koutou,
I’m pleased to update you on the progress our students are making as we prepare for this year’s school production. The arts are really shining at Maungaraki School as we bring the performance of 'Once Upon a Shelf: Tales from the Library'.
Our classrooms are full of energy as students engage in singing, acting, and dancing, each putting their best foot forward to master their roles. It’s so pleasing to see their enthusiasm, and it’s clear that their hard work is paying off.
Thank you all for your patience and understanding regarding the format of this year's production. As we’ve mentioned, due to the size of our school, we have decided to present the production across two separate shows. This approach will allow us to give each child the stage time they deserve while ensuring a quality experience for everyone.
Thank you also for the support you’ve shown with costumes. Your contributions are invaluable in bringing this production to life. If you have skills in these areas and would like to lend a hand, please reach out to your child’s classroom teacher. We’d love to have more of our talented community members involved in getting the final details ready.
We’re eagerly looking forward to sharing the show with you in just a few weeks’ time. Stay tuned for even more details as we approach the performance dates. Your support and involvement make a world of difference, and we can’t wait for you to see the amazing work our students have put together.
Ngā mihi nui,
Shane Robinson
