PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Maungaraki School —

Week 10

Tena koutou Maungaraki whānau,

As we wrap up the winter term and welcome spring, I want to wish each and every one of you a fantastic two-week break. It's a great time for all of us to spend quality moments connecting with our loved ones. Make the most of this break and enjoy some well-deserved downtime if you are able to.

We'll be back for the new term on the 9th of October, refreshed and ready to dive into new learning adventures.

This term has been amazing, packed with wonderful experiences and events that truly showcased the strength and creativity of our Maungaraki community. From our lively Matariki celebration to our parent and student learning chats, we've seen fantastic things happen this term. Our Cyber Safety evening was a big deal, helping our families navigate the online world safely. And let's not forget the school disco, which was a huge hit and brought out the fun-loving spirit in all of us!

Throughout all these events and more, our HEART values have been our guide, shaping the core of who we are at Maungaraki School. We are really excited about the upcoming term and all the wonderful opportunities for growth, learning, and achievements that await us.

I wish you all a relaxing and joyful break. Take this time to recharge and create beautiful memories with your loved ones.

Nga mihi,
Shane Robinson
