Athletics

We have our Tipu Olympics and Koru/Fern Athletics days coming up next week! 

Here is a reminder of the dates:

Thursday 29th October - Tipu Olympics

We will be having our athletics rotation as part of this, including the sprint heats. An email with more detail will be sent to families by the Tipu teachers.  

Friday 30th October - Koru/Fern Senior Athletics Day

The Koru/Fern Athletics Day will run as a rotation of events starting at approximately 9:10am and stopping for lunch at about 1:10pm. There will be food and drink breaks along the way. These are all finals except for the sprints which are heats. 

That afternoon we will be having our Year 0 - 2 Junior Fun Runs and the Year 3 - 8 running event finals. These will begin with the juniors at approximately 1:40pm. After these we will be having our House relays, Year 8's vs Teachers relays, and Parents vs Teachers relay. We invite all parents and whānau to come along and enjoy the day with us! 

We ask that parents please enjoy the sprints from the building side of the sprint running track and come over to the outside of the circular track for relays. You'll get a great view!
