Week 3 & 4

The Build n Play Trailer will be at Maungaraki School the weeks beginning Monday 18th of February and Monday 25th of February.

The Build n Play Trailer is an initiative developed by the Hutt City Council to encourage children to be active. The trailer is loaned to the school for a two week period. It includes a range of materials and tools that students can use independently. Students are given a safety briefing and work alongside adults to complete a project.

We are collecting items that the students can use during their turn. These items include wood offcuts, milk bottle tops, yogurt containers and any other clean material. There are plastic tubs outside Room 15 to collect the donations.

We cannot run this fantastic initiative without support from parents. If you (or someone you know) can volunteer to support the children with their projects please contact your child’s class teacher. The timetable for the two weeks is below.
