PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Tena koe,

We hope this newsletter finds you well and ready for the exciting events ahead at Maungaraki school. As we approach the end of the year, we have a lot to celebrate, and we can't wait to share a few highlights with you.

Our amazing Arts Showcase and Carols Night is just around the corner, scheduled for next Thursday. The anticipation is building as our talented students have been hard at work creating beautiful pieces of art that they are eager to showcase. Join us for an evening filled with creativity, fun, and the tunes of the season. It's a wonderful opportunity for our school community to come together, appreciate the artistic talents of our students, and celebrate the year.

The past few weeks have been marked by incredible experiences through our Education Outside the Classroom programme. From enriching field trips and engaging overnight stays to team-building activities and invigorating bushwalks, our students have had the chance to learn and grow beyond the traditional classroom setting.

We extend our appreciation to the dedicated staff who have organized and led these events. Their commitment to providing unique learning experiences has made the weeks so much fun. We also want to express our gratitude to the supportive parents who have generously volunteered their time as helpers, contributing to the success of these outings. We could not do it without you, special thanks to those that stayed overnight at the zoo with our Year 4 students.

As the year draws to a close, we have a number of assemblies and functions to celebrate the achievements of the year. We look forward to seeing you at these and sharing these with you as they occur.
